I have wanted this product to exist for many years.  Not because I’m a Letting Agent or a Landlord but because it just should exist. 

 

If you pay your mortgage, you do that by Direct Debit, if you pay your Gas bill, your Sky or Virgin, every big bill you have gets paid automatically without you having to do a bunch of admin every month.

 

Why do Private Tenants not enjoy the benefits of Direct Debit?  Because until now it has not been something that Letting Agents and Landlords can just turn on.  We've designed a service without bureaucratic hurdles, or set-up fees.

 

No one likes admin or late payment.  The PAID & CO service uses text message and email alerts to help tenants keep on top of their finances.  With notifications before payments are due and after they have successfully been collected, landlords can be kept informed as well.

 

This week we have been finessing our user journey because there are a few details that matter because they make a difference to the big picture.  Here's a screenshot from our testbed showing the latest iteration of our monthly rent schedule showing paid (green), overdue (red) and scheduled (grey) rents.
